It held my hair very well, it made my hair nice and stiff. I didn’t notice much of a shine.
It is washed out with shampoo.
In other words, it does what it claims to do.

Great Hold. I’ve been using this hair styling clay for a while now, and it works really well. The hold is fantastic—my hair stays in place all day, even on windy days. I love the matte finish, which gives a nice, natural look without any shine.

Quality Styling Clay. Comes in a nice metal tin with a screw lid, which provides a tight seal when closed, ensuring the product will not dry out in the container over time. Strong hold once styled, but I find that the product gets sticky on your hands quickly, so you need to be fast and/or add a bit of water. I tend to mess with my hair frequently during the day and I traditionally use a fiber type product which gives a bit more time to get your hair in order and allows me to restyle frequently without additional product. Since the clay is a high hold, it’s a bit more stiff and tends to leave some residue on my hands. It does have a pleasant, but strong scent. As the another reviewer mentioned, if you are sensitive to scents or perfumes, you might want to look elsewhere.

Pretty good styling clay, definitely has its place in the rotation. I use lots of different creams, clays, pomades etc for different looks. Right now my hair is medium length and fairly thick in the front. Usually use something different but wanted to try this out. It smells nice in my opinion, not overpowering or anything though. The hold was pretty good, kept things in place without getting crispy. Didn’t really love the way it made my hair feel to the touch though. I think this stuff will work great when my hair is shorter, not really great for the length I have now.

Strong flexible hold. This hair styling clay is super strong you only need a little bit! It helps keep your style in place while still remaining flexible and doesn’t make your hair shiny. It can get a little clumpy and sticky if you apply too much to one spot, bit it’ll eventually dry a be less tacky.
I did forget that I had this on the back of my hair and tried to brush my hair, Let’s say this is very strong hold stuff lol. I actually slept with it in too and it held up pretty good, it loosened up a lot but was still style able.

I’m so glad I found this hair styling clay! It definitely has a strong hold, so my hair stayed up the whole day with no issues. Plus, I got compliments that my hair looked nice, after I switched to this hair clay. I’m really not a fan of shiny finishes, so the matte finish made my hair look natural, but still clean. A little goes a long way, so you really don’t need that much product. This should last me a while. Also, the smell is nice but subtle, so you don’t have to worry about it being overpowering or giving you a headache. This will definitely be my new go-to hair clay!!
