Strong hold once styled, but I find that the product gets sticky on your hands quickly, so you need to be fast and/or add a bit of water. I tend to mess with my hair frequently during the day and I traditionally use a fiber type product which gives a bit more time to get your hair in order and allows me to restyle frequently without additional product. Since the clay is a high hold, it’s a bit more stiff and tends to leave some residue on my hands. It does have a pleasant, but strong scent. As the another reviewer mentioned, if you are sensitive to scents or perfumes, you might want to look elsewhere.
